Introducing WAHOO Shipping Protection — Native Shopify Shipping Insurance for Enterprise Orders

This article examines shipping protection as an implementation concept. We cannot verify a currently installed Codified Commerce Shipping Protection app in the connected store. It should not be read as an available insurance product or a promise of claims coverage.

Check the commercial and technical model

  • Distinguish an insurance policy issued by an authorized provider from a merchant-funded order protection promise.
  • Confirm eligibility, disclosures, terms, claims handling, refunds and responsibility in each market.
  • Check the store plan and checkout extension capabilities before proposing an opt-in at the shipping step. Shopify documents shipping protection UI patterns, but checkout-step UI extensions have plan restrictions.
  • Test how opt-in, pricing and order data are recorded; do not assume a checkout display automatically creates a valid coverage or claim.

See Shopify checkout UI extension documentation. CAT AI can review the store and recommend a feasible Automation; insurance or underwriting requires a separately verified provider and legal arrangement.
