My work in ecommerce began in 2004, with roles at ICICI Securities, HSBC InvestDirect and Trek Bicycle Corporation. Those experiences shaped how I assess customer needs, buying journeys and commercial decisions. Today, that judgment helps our team manage CAT AI Automations and review the work the system delivers.

2020
Shopify agency begins
I started working directly with Shopify merchants as an independent Shopify Partner. Their store operations, customer needs and growth challenges became the foundation for what followed.
2022
Research and development begins
I began investing heavily in research and development, looking for ways to turn recurring Shopify challenges into a more systematic approach.
2024
Codified Algorithmic Thinking enters beta
That research led to a working beta of Codified Algorithmic Thinking as generative AI advanced. Development continued as agentic commerce opened up new possibilities.
2026
CAT AI launches
I founded Codified Commerce and launched CAT AI as a done-for-you system for Shopify Automations. CAT AI carries out the work, with our team providing Shopify expertise, creative judgment and oversight where needed.
