Direct answer: Check whether the ad promise, product facts and Shopify buying path agree before sending paid traffic.
Follow the customer from claim to checkout
The ad, destination page, variant selector, shipping terms, warranty and checkout should describe the same offer. If an ad says a bundle includes an accessory, the landing page must identify the included items and applicable variants. If the product requires a consultation or compatibility check, the path to that step should be obvious.
Run five checks
Confirm that the advertised item is available for the intended market; that price and taxes are presented correctly; that delivery and return terms are findable; that mobile shoppers can understand and complete the next action; and that product claims have support. For regulated or sensitive products, obtain the relevant merchant and specialist review before publishing ad claims.
Measure friction rather than hiding it
High click activity with weak checkout progression can point to a landing problem, a mismatched audience or tracking error. Inspect recordings or support questions where authorized, compare relevant segments and make one bounded correction at a time. Conversion Rate Optimization is included by default in the approved Codified Commerce scope; it does not imply unlimited redesign.
A worked example
A buyer sees an ad for a particular size and clicks through to a product page whose default variant is a different size. Even if the advertisement is accurate, the journey asks the customer to correct the store's context. A targeted correction can be a variant-specific destination and a clear compatibility note. Measure whether qualified shoppers reach checkout before changing the underlying product.

How the loop learns
This is Machine Experience work because the commerce environment must be intelligible and usable. Moving Target observes the resulting journey. If repeated objections question the offer itself, Next Product Move investigates.
